Handguns may be fitted into our deluxe oak & leather case (top photos) or the Morocco leather Borchardt style case (below). Oak & leather pistol cases are constructed in the same manner as our larger trunk cases. Interiors are usually French fitted with lidded compartments at each end, as illustrated at left. Custom features, as pictured at right, are available on special order.
THE MOROCCO LEATHER BORCHARDT STYLE CASE is a close replica of the type of case that was usually supplied with handguns at around the turn of the 20th century, particularly the Borchardt, Luger, Mauser, Piper and other pistols of that era. They are very well constructed and employ the exact style of furniture that would have been supplied in the late 19th century. Several colors of leather are available and interiors may be fitted in any manner that the customer requires.

Small to medium sized handguns may be fitted into high quality genuine 19th Century quarter-bound leather volumes with a choice of interior fitting styles. We can offer a good selection of these books and the customer may provide his own. Title patches on the spine may be replaced to "re-title" the book with the customer's choice of title and author (i.e. "The Art of Negotiation", "Gentle Persuasion", etc.). Please understand that these veteran books are usually over 100-150 years old and, while we select only the most solid and intact examples, their surfaces proudly display their age and patina.
TWO TIER PISTOL CASE with lift-out tray. This case has been bound with our optional African Cape Buffalo hide (available in four colors) and brass corners. The tray and bottom space may be fitted in any configuration and custom wood cartridge blocks are available in all pistol cases.
GLASS LIDS are available on almost all cases. Shown here is a glass lidded pistol case, bound in African Cape Buffalo on an optional leather-covered display stand.
