Rifles and Assembled Shotguns are usually fitted at an angle to minimize case width. Bolts are removed and fitted separately for a more shallow, lightweight case. Assembled shotguns may also be fitted into full length cases. A combination of partition and French fitting is generally used and ample room is available for a full compliment of fitted accessories. All unused space is compartmented and lidded.
Pairs of rifles may also be fitted into a deep, narrower two-tier case with a lift-out tray, The top rifle and accessories are fitted into the top tray. Additional bail handles are fitted at the ends to facilitate handling.
